Job Description

Description Amazon's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team seeks a Program Manager to lead corporate wayfinding and signage deployment across Amazon's global office portfolio. This strategic role combines programme leadership with tactical execution, overseeing large-scale signage implementation projects that ensure consistent brand expression, regulatory compliance, and exceptional employee experience across diverse geographies. The successful candidate will develop three-year strategic roadmaps, establish performance metrics and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer insights. Key responsibilities include building a deployment strategy and managing existing team in coordinating national and regional signage vendors, managing project budgets and timelines, reviewing design approvals, and ensuring quality standards throughout installation. This role will drive innovation and make Amazon's corporate signage deployment more frugal, faster and of better quality while maintaining transparent relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and regional teams. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in program management at global scale deployment, with proven ability to build and lead teams in fast-paced environments. Strong project management capabilities, vendor coordination expertise, and the ability to influence without authority are essential. This position requires approximately 15% global travel and offers the opportunity to shape workplace standards across Amazon's expanding corporate footprint while fostering scalable, employee-centric signage solutions. Key job responsibilities Strategic Programme Leadership
  • Develop one year (1YP) & three-year plan (3YP) as strategic roadmaps and annual plans aligned with GREF's corporate wayfinding objectives.
  • Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and SLAs for signage deployment programmes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer insights and industry best practices Project Execution & Delivery
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of large-scale signage implementation across global corporate offices
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, forecasts, and change orders for multiple concurrent deployments
  • Coordinate national and regional signage vendors, fabricators, installers, and contractors Quality & Compliance Management
  • Review shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and installation specifications with a view of making deployment faster.
  • Ensure consistent brand expression, materials, and finishes across all corporate locations
  • Maintain compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including workplace design, construction, standards & guidelines and regional facilities
  • Influence without authority to align diverse stakeholders on program objectives

  • Deploy pilots and iterate rapidly based on feedback to reduce layers and improve speed A day in the life Your morning begins reviewing project dashboards across the global portfolio, prioritizing installations requiring immediate attention.
You join a video call with regional teams in Singapore and London, aligning on brand standards for upcoming office expansions. Mid-morning, you review shop drawings from three vendors, providing feedback on wayfinding clarity and write strategy docs. After lunch, you walk a newly completed Seattle office, inspecting signage quality and documenting lessons learned. You then facilitate a working session with workplace design partners, integrating signage requirements into Q3 renovation plans. Late afternoon brings budget reviews and forecast updates for your portfolio of 40+ active projects.

You close the day mentoring a junior program manager on stakeholder influence techniques, then draft a strategic brief proposing pilot technology for digital wayfinding integration—balancing innovation with Amazon's frugality principles. Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Knowledge of general AI tools

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
