Job Description
A mission-driven organization serving the Northern Piedmont area is seeking a dependable, highly organized, hands-on Facilities & Operations Coordinator to help keep multiple program and administrative locations safe, stocked, organized, and operating smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who sees what needs to be done and follows it through. Responsibilities include conducting routine property walkthroughs; managing inventories and supplies; purchasing and restocking needed items; coordinating minor maintenance and service needs; maintaining organized records; receiving and distributing supplies and donations; and serving as a central point of contact for day-to-day facility concerns. This is not a traditional maintenance technician position . We are looking for an operational problem-solver who is comfortable moving between locations, managing multiple details at once, identifying problems early, and making sure things do not fall through the cracks. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organization, sound judgment, reliability, initiative, and the ability to work independently. Candidates must also be comfortable using computers and common office technology, including email, shared documents, and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software for inventory and tracking purposes. A high school diploma or equivalent and reliable transportation are required. Experience in facilities coordination, retail operations, inventory management, property management, hospitality, human services, or a similar operational environment is a plus. This job requires satisfactory completion of a criminal background check. Local travel between work locations is required, along with occasional response to time-sensitive facility needs.
