Job Description At United Airlines, we are looking for a Facilities Utility Specialist to join our team at Dulles, Virginia. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and ground support equipment. The Facilities Utility Specialist will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the maintenance and operation of airport facilities and equipment. This includes ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and that the facilities are clean and safe for employees and customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on ground support equipment. Ensure all facilities are clean and well-maintained. Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Work with other team members to ensure efficient operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions. Participate in training and development programs. Assist with inventory management of supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in facilities maintenance or ground support equipment preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks. Valid driver's license.
