About Us We are a brand-new inpatient behavioral health treatment center dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Our facility is designed to offer a safe, comfortable, and healing environment—and we are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to ensure our campus operates at the highest standard. Position Overview The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations, maintenance, and safety. This individual will ensure the building, grounds, and systems are fully operational, compliant, and supportive of a therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance experience and strong working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems , along with experience managing vendors and service providers.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (on-call if necessary) Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs Perform routine inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, state regulations) Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs related to plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems Coordinate and manage third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers Maintain facility systems including HVAC units, generators, fire safety systems, and security systems Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and facility policies Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and tools Respond to facility-related emergencies and on-call maintenance needs Collaborate with leadership to ensure the facility environment supports patient care and staff operations Assist with new facility setup, ongoing improvements, and capital projects as needed Maintain documentation of maintenance logs, inspections, and vendor work Qualifications 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience (healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred) Strong working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems Experience managing vendors and external contractors Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and facility operations Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities Basic computer skills (email, work orders, maintenance logs) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a behavioral health or healthcare facility Familiarity with Joint Commission (JCAHO) or CARF standards Trade certification or technical training (HVAC, electrical, or general maintenance)
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
