Position Summary:
Maintains building and property, performing routine repairs, painting, and maintenance activities.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Replaces HVAC and smoke eater filters. Notifies management concerning the need for any repairs. Removes snow, ice, and debris from all facility entrances and walkways. Maintains exterior grounds and parking lot. Maintains floor cleanliness. Communicates inventory supply status to management. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks. Reports on any observed security, environmental and health and safety related concerns and any equipment malfunctions. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED ; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD) and one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training in property maintenance in hotels or apartment complexes ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to lift 50lbs, reach, stoop and stand for extended periods of time. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must be willing to work in a smoking environment. Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Shift:
Generally 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
