Job Description

Rock River Heritage Inc. (dba Fort Atkinson Club) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our historic building and grounds. This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing event setup, maintaining building facilities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the building and grounds at The Fort Atkinson Club. Have a strong understanding of facility operations including electrical, plumbing, and painting. Pass a background check to obtain an alcohol license as required. Create and maintain a digital inventory of event and building items. Create event layouts for Usage Clients; set up space for events. Ensure that all procedures adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Utilize knowledge of ADA regulations and building management practices to maintain compliance. Communicate effectively throughout projects and submit invoices for payment in a timely manner. Schedule and coordinate with cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Set-up and troubleshoot audiovisual (AV) equipment. Perform other building maintenance duties as assigned. Utilize a working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations. Write reports and business correspondence effectively to communicate with the team and vendors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in facilities management and/or building operations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office programs. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
