Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN to join our healthcare team as a Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate excellent patient care skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our residents. You would be responsible for conducting assessments for potential admissions. Daily interactions with residents and families. Duties would include admissions, discharges, daily nursing care, assessments, and blood draws. As a Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our Assisted Living setting. Position includes being on call every third week. Hours are Monday - Friday from 730 am 400 pm. Must have a valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse License. This role is required to work on the floor when the need arises in a caregiving role. . Must be willing to obtain their train the trainer certifications to teach CBRF training courses (ie: Standard Precautions, First Aid and Choking and Medication Admin). Candidate needs to have 3-5 years of nursing experience. Preferably 3-5 years of managerial experience as well. Responsibilities Assess patient health problems and needs. Updating primary physicians as needed. When on weekly on call; may need to work the floor as a caregiver if needed. Ability to provide ADLs, pass medications, complete treatments as ordered. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, and treatment plans. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Utilize electronic health records in PCC (PointClickCare) for documentation and data management. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards. Qualifications Current RN license in the state of practice (WI). PDPM knowledge and experience is a bonus Will be required to obtain Train the Trainer certification to teach Standard Precautions, First Aid and Choking, and Medication Administration CBRF trainings. Experience in long-term care or medical-surgical nursing preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
