Job Description

The Berkshire Soccer Academy for Girls ("BSA"), a successful overnight soccer camp in Otis, Massachusetts, is acquiring Camp Rim Rock, an overnight summer camp in Yellow Springs, West Virginia, and converting that camp into a second Berkshire Soccer Academy location. Over the next 12 months, BSA will transform many aspects of Camp Rim Rock to create a world-class overnight soccer camp. The new BSA location will begin operating in June 2027. BSA is hiring a Facilities Manager to oversee the transformation and, once that is. complete, to oversee ongoing facility maintenance and improvements. Responsibilities

  • June 2027 Maintenance and repair of all facilities, including grounds, buildings, equipment and vehicles; Under the supervision of the owner, oversee new construction and renovations, infrastructurework. General property maintenance including plowing and cleaning. Responsibilities

  • August): Daily upkeep
  • including minor plumbing and electrical repairs, septic and water system troubleshooting, turf maintenance, equipment repairs, waste disposal. Oversee aspects of camper arrival and departure (traffic and luggage delivery) Must be willing to work 6 days/week in summer. Corresponding reduction in winter hours.   • May) Oversee new construction and renovation projects (expected to continue for several years) General property maintenance including plowing, grass cutting, cleaning, opening and winterizing camp.
Preferred qualifications:
Contractors License (West Virginia or other) Light plumbing and electrical Small and large engine repair Turf management Heavy Equipment Operators License Words that would be used to describe the successful candidate: Problem solver Resourceful Persistent Organized Reliable Accountable Position is Ideal for a general contractor who prefers not to take on the financial risks inherent in that business. Must have own transportation and housing. All applicants subject to criminal background check and drug test. Non-smokers and those willing not to smoke on property only. In person interviews will be scheduled between May 18 and 20.
