Requirements Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment preferred. Must successfully complete forklift certification, written testing, and hands-on driving evaluations. Experience with shipping, receiving, line delivery, trailer loading, and inventory movement is a plus. Strong attention to safety, quality standards, and operational procedures. Ability to read work instructions, shipping documents, and safety procedures. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and percentages. Ability to accurately use RF scanners and warehouse tracking systems. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, and move throughout the workday. Frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds. Use hands and arms continuously for equipment operation and material handling tasks. Ability to work overtime, weekends, flexible schedules, and rotating assignments as needed. Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, sleeves, hearing protection, and bump cap. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and production demands. Job Duties Operate forklifts safely to support daily shipping, receiving, production, and material delivery operations. Complete daily forklift inspections and safety checks using the Keytroller system. Load and unload trailers while following customer-specific shipping requirements and vanning layouts. Scan and track inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners and barcode systems. Deliver materials to production lines and staging areas to ensure continuous operation. Inspect trailers, containers, racks, bins, and equipment for damage before loading products. Maintain organized staging and storage areas in accordance with 5S workplace standards. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and operational problems to supervisors promptly. Assist with cross-training, continuous improvement initiatives, and additional warehouse duties as assigned. Work collaboratively to meet shipping schedules, customer delivery requirements, and production goals.
