Full-time Position Overview International Warehousing and Shipping is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Warehouse Operator/Forklift Operator to support operations at our facilities in both Mobile, AL and Loxley, AL . This position requires an individual who is comfortable working independently, managing daily responsibilities with minimal supervision, and maintaining productivity in varying weather conditions throughout the year. The ideal candidate will possess forklift operating experience, basic computer skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This role includes warehouse operations, inventory management, outdoor work, and facility maintenance tasks, including painting fixtures as needed. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain forklift equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Utilize basic computer skills for inventory management and order tracking. Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Stage orders for shipping and customer pickup. Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization. Work independently and prioritize daily tasks with minimal supervision. Travel between and perform duties at both the Mobile and Loxley facilities as business needs require. Paint and maintain warehouse fixtures, racks, and equipment as assigned. Perform general facility and warehouse upkeep duties. Work safely and efficiently in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions, including summer heat and winter cold. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a hazard-free workplace. Perform regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs. Collaborate with team members and management to improve warehouse processes and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous forklift experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated. Must be able to work at both Mobile, AL and Loxley, AL locations. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Basic computer skills required.
