Starting pay:

$16.00 per hour. You will receive a raise to $18.00 per hour when converted to a permanent employee (usually between 30-90 days) 3rd shifts

Thursday SUMMARY:

sit-down forklift operators efficiently and safely transports materials to appropriate racks and Line Operators in an accurate and timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

of the sit-down forklift operators: Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas using a Sit-down Fork Lift. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. Maintains a safe, clean working environment. Participates in quality improvement efforts. Assists on kitting line as needed Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS

for the sit-down forklift operators: 2+ years related experience as a sit-down forklift operator. With experience within the last 12-months. Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods. Forklift certified. (YOU

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREEN. YOU MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED

Must be 19 years of age or older

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Lift and move a minimum of 70 pounds without assistance. Walk, bend, and climb stairs. Stand for long periods of time. Wear appropriate safety equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures can vary from hot to cold and noise level can be moderate to high.
