Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes and updating the warehouse management system (WMS). Pick and prepare orders efficiently using order picker equipment while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting goods for damage. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for any issues to ensure safety compliance. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety protocols and warehouse safety standards during all operations. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean work environment. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures. Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes along with manual handling techniques for heavy lifting. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy. Experience in materials handling equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and load/unload activities.
