Job Description

Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock areas. This role ensures safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods to support daily logistics operations.
Requirements What will you do:
Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between the dock, staging, and storage areas Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies Qualifications 1-3 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass a drug screening
