Day-in-the-life:
Keep Our Material Flow Moving in Vance, AL 35490 Picture this: your shift starts with a quick walk-around of your forklifts, confirming everything is in top shape. You hop on a reach truck to pull pallets from high bays, then switch to a counterbalance (sit-down) to stage outbound loads. Throughout the day, you partner with teammates, support cycle counts, and keep your aisle spotless—because safety and accuracy are how the whole operation wins. Role Highlights Operate both reach trucks and sit-down (counterbalance) forklifts to transport, stage, and store product. Load and unload trailers and containers with care and precision, maintaining accuracy and pace. Complete pre-use inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns. Keep work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards to protect people and product. Coordinate with supervisors and peers to hit daily throughput and production targets. Follow safety procedures and company policies every time you operate equipment. Support inventory activities, including cycle counts and stock checks, as needed. What You Bring Valid forklift operator certification for both Reach Truck and Sit-Down equipment. Hands-on forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting (preferred). Sharp attention to detail and a safety-first mindset. Ability to work independently and contribute as a dependable team player. Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Capability to lift and handle heavy materials and perform physical tasks. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
