Forklift Operator

Nonferrous Warehouse Forklift Operator This is a full-time hourly position. Your work schedule will be 5 days a week;

MON-FRI 7

30AM to 4:00PM and Saturdays as needed. You may take a lunch break not to exceed 30 minutes and is paid if employee remains onsite. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. This Position Description, Job duties and work hours are subject to change at any time.

KEY TASKS & WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION

Daily operation of a forklift in a warehouse environment Unload NF dealer mixed loads Identify non-conforming material Keep warehouse organized Unload customers as needed Load outbound shipments Movement of material to processing area Back up Baler Operator Prepare scrap in accordance with consumer specs (baling, sorting, shearing, etc) Movement of finished goods to storage area o Compliance with Employee Handbook o Safety Champion All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to operate equipment in fast paced work environment. Good communication skills Ability to work as a team member Forklift certified

PHYSICAL ASPECTS

Stands, walk, use hands, reaches, talk and hear frequently. Lifts to 50 lbs. Requires close vision at 20 inches or less Requires distant vision at 20 feet or more Requires the ability to distinguish colors Requires good peripheral vision Must be able to walk comfortably up to 3 miles daily
