Job Description

Production Line Worker Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically active individual to join our production team. You will be responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing high-quality candles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship and enjoys a hands-on, repetitive workflow.
Key Responsibilities Wax Preparation:
Melt wax and blend in fragrance oils and dyes according to strict formulas.
Wicking & Assembly:
Operate a wicking machine that coats the wick with wax.
Pouring:
Operate pouring equipment for the placement of molten wax into containers while maintaining correct temperatures.
Finishing:
Trim wicks, and clean containers of any waxy residue or "wet spots."
Quality Control:
Spot-check products for scent consistency, labeling accuracy, and aesthetic defects.
Labeling & Packaging:
Monitor label machines; operate packaging machines and place packaged products on pallets.
Maintenance:
Clean and maintain wax tanks and general workstation hygiene.
Requirements & Skills Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs. (wax slabs and heavy boxes).
Detail-Oriented:
A sharp eye for small imperfections, such as crooked labels or off-center wicks.
Math Skills:
Basic ability to follow formulas and measure ingredients (ounces, grams, percentages).
Dexterity:
Strong hand-eye coordination for delicate tasks like wicking small jars.
Reliability:
Punctuality and a consistent work ethic in a team-based setting.
Environment:
Comfortable working around heat (molten wax) and strong fragrances. Desired Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Note for

This role often requires working in a climate-controlled but fragrant environment. If you have sensitivity to strong scents or allergies to certain oils, this may not be the ideal fit.
