Hotel Housekeeper

Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment. Maintain cleanliness of all public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms with attention to detail and hospitality standards. Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces spotless and inviting. Handle janitorial duties efficiently by using industrial cleaning equipment and supplies safely while adhering to health and safety regulations. Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, linens, and minibar items to ensure guest needs are met promptly. Report maintenance issues or damages immediately to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards. Follow established protocols for cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and environmentally friendly practices to promote a healthy environment for guests and staff alike. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly desirable. Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality enhances understanding of guest service expectations. Familiarity with custodial practices, housekeeping management, and maintaining cleanliness standards in busy environments. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively during shifts. Excellent attention to detail combined with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
