In this vital role, you will operate specialized equipment to efficiently handle, move, and organize materials within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of goods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork drive success. Duties Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts (including lift trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks), pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. Load and unload shipments accurately using barcode scanning for logistics and order picker systems. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining high accuracy in inventory management. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for any issues with forklifts or other machinery. Manage warehouse inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring proper storage, labeling, and tracking of materials. Follow warehouse safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound/outbound shipments, completing necessary documentation, and ensuring proper placement of goods within the warehouse.
