In this role, you'll primarily perform material handling and forklift operations while supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. Based on business needs and your qualifications, you may also assist with local transportation or delivery activities using a Class C Bobtail truck; however, Bobtail driving experience is not required for consideration. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, dependable, and brings 4-5 years of hands-on forklift operating experience within a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment. You are comfortable working independently, maintaining accurate inventory records, and adapting to changing operational priorities. As a Forklift Operator, you'll: Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming and outgoing materials, inventory, and shipments. Load, unload, pick, pack, label, stage, and prepare materials for storage, transportation, and shipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment. Process inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and perform cycle counts, stock checks, inventory audits, and physical inventory activities. Consolidate and organize inventory, pallets, and shipments to improve storage utilization and operational efficiency. Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory documentation, including required material measurements and weights. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, safety concerns, and other operational issues. Support material transfers, pickups, and deliveries as needed, including operating a company Class C Bobtail truck when qualified and assigned. Complete required equipment and vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Cross-train and support other operational functions and departments based on business needs. A high school diploma or equivalent 4-5 years of forklift operating experience Demonstrated experience safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, shipping and receiving, inventory, or distribution Knowledge of receiving, storing, picking, staging, loading, and shipping processes Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management processes Experience completing shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and other warehouse records Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory tracking systems Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and documentation Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials as required by the role Must be 25 years of age or older
