Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Motivate and lead class participants through fun, enjoyable classesCreate positive lasting memories for each participant, each day

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Minimum age 18.Must enjoy teaching others.
Current state approved First Aid, CPR/AED Certificate.
Current nationally recognized group fitness instructor certificate (e.g.
ACE, AFAA YMCA
Group Fitness Instructor, ACSM or National Exercise Trainers Association only).Must have a current instructor certification in Zumba, Jazzercise, MixxedFit or any similar style of dance group fitness.
A positive energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others.
