  • We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Chemical Forklift Operator to join our team.

Our company specializes in handling liquid chlorine and caustic soda—essential chemicals utilized by water treatment plants to provide safe and clean water. The ideal candidate will bring solid sit-down forklift experience, a commitment to reliable attendance, and a willingness to continuously learn new skills. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, painting gas/liquid cylinders, and supporting various chemical handling and production processes—all with a safety-first approach.   • Pay:
  • $19/hour
  • Shift Schedule
  • + Monday through Friday + 5:00 AM start time + 8-10 hours per day, with occasional overtime as needed
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Operate sit-down forklifts to safely transport materials, including liquid chlorine and caustic soda, throughout the facility + Paint gas and liquid cylinders to meet company and regulatory standards + Safely handle and assist with processes involving liquid chlorine and caustic soda for water treatment applications + Adhere strictly to safety protocols when working with hazardous materials + Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times + Support general team operations as needed and take on new tasks with a positive attitude + Remain flexible and eager to learn evolving job duties and processes •Qualifications•+ Proven sit-down forklift experience (certification preferred) + Excellent attendance record demonstrating reliability and punctuality + Strong interest in learning new skills and expanding job duties + Committed to a safety-first work ethic and adherence to safety standards, especially with hazardous materials + Ability to precisely follow written and verbal instructions + Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment + Experience with gas or liquid cylinders and valves is a plus, but not required As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
