In this role, you will be primarily responsible for loading and unloading palletized freight from trucks, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and ensuring materials are staged accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Loading & Unloading:
Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trailers, flatbeds, and shipping containers using powered industrial trucks.
Material Transport:
Transport palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products to designated staging areas, storage racks, or production lines.
Inventory Verification:
Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify piece counts against bills of lading (BOL) or packing slips, and report discrepancies immediately.
Racking & Staging:
Stack and store materials according to warehouse safety guidelines, ensuring proper space utilization and weight distribution.
Equipment Safety Checks:
Perform mandatory pre-shift inspections on equipment (hydraulics, tires, brakes, battery/fuel levels) and report maintenance needs.
Site Maintenance:
Keep aisles, staging zones, and dock doors clear of debris, pallets, and hazardous materials to maintain OSHA compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks (sit-down counterbalance, stand-up reach, or electric pallet jack) in a warehouse setting.
Certification:
Valid OSHA-compliant Forklift Operator Certification (or ability to pass internal re-certification upon hire).
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, perform repetitive bending, stretching, and sitting or standing for extended periods.
Skillset:
Strong spatial awareness, comfortable working around active equipment, and basic mathematical skills for inventory verification.
Reliability:
Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and a team-first attitude. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of standard pallet wrapping procedures and staging protocols. Prior experience working in high-volume distribution or cross-dock operations.

Full-Time | Monday

  • 4:30 PM | Saturday 7:30 AM
  • 1:00 PM | Overtime available
Pay Rate:
$19.00
