Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week One-hour unpaid meal period Overtime eligibility in accordance with California law Rite Staff Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for a warehousing and distribution facility in Bell Gardens, California. This hands-on position supports receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping. Qualified applicants must have forklift and warehouse experience, including experience handling solar-panel crates or pallets.

Responsibilities:

Unload trailers, containers, and deliveries using authorized warehouse equipment. Operate a sit-down forklift, reach truck, electric pallet jack, or similar equipment. Verify freight against bills of lading, packing lists, and purchase orders. Count and inspect incoming products and report shortages, damage, or labeling issues. Label, palletize, shrink-wrap, stage, and put away products. Maintain accurate rack, bin, floor-location, and inventory-system information. Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories. Pick, pack, stage, and verify outbound orders. Build and secure pallets and prepare shipping labels and documentation. Load outbound trailers safely and confirm shipment counts. Complete daily equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions. Maintain clean aisles, staging areas, work areas, and equipment-storage locations. Record work time and meal periods accurately through QuickBooks Time. Follow all safety, PPE, and Injury and Illness Prevention Program requirements.

Required Qualifications:

At least one year of warehouse, distribution, 3PL, or manufacturing experience. Solar-panel warehouse experience, including handling solar-panel crates or pallets. Forklift or powered-industrial-truck experience. Current forklift certification. Experience with shipping and receiving, order picking, pallet building, inventory control, or warehouse-management systems. Ability to read bills of lading, packing lists, purchase orders, pick lists, shipping labels, and written safety instructions. Basic math and accurate counting skills. Ability to use handheld scanners, tablets, or mobile timekeeping applications. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work onsite in Bell Gardens during the stated schedule. At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. Employees may operate powered industrial equipment only after completing the required company training, evaluation, and authorization. Certification issued by a previous employer does not automatically transfer.

Physical Requirements:

With or without reasonable accommodation, the employee must be able to: Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Occasionally handle up to 75 pounds with assistance or mechanical equipment. Stand and walk on concrete for most of an eight-hour shift. Frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, and reach overhead. Perform repetitive scanning, wrapping, sorting, and material-handling tasks. Work safely around moving warehouse equipment.

Work Environment:

The facility is not climate-controlled. Employees may encounter seasonal temperatures, dust, warehouse noise, dock-door drafts, and moving material-handling equipment. Steel-toe footwear and required PPE must be worn on the warehouse floor. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful but not required. Apply today for immediate consideration.
