$20.50 per hour Job description: Job Overview 1st Shift Monday -Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm $20.50/hr
Forklift Experience:
Sit down and Clamp/ General Labor when needed We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, and cranes, to efficiently move products and materials throughout the warehouse. This role requires a strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations while ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management. Duties Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently within the warehouse. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely. Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain an organized workspace by keeping aisles clear and ensuring that all equipment is stored properly. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. Collaborate with team members to build pallets and prepare shipments for distribution. Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, while performing duties in the warehouse. Qualifications Previous experience operating forklifts (Sit Down and Clamp) or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred. Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory management systems is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Valid forklift certification is highly desirable; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. #AV1
