Full-Time / Hourly Position Summary The Warehouse Forklift Operator / Order Picker is responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, ingredients, packaging, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility. This position will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, pick and stage orders, load and unload trucks, and perform general warehouse duties to support production and shipping operations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Pick, pull, stage, and move finished goods, ingredients, packaging materials, and other warehouse inventory. Accurately fulfill internal and customer order requirements. Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks. Stage finished goods for shipment and production materials for manufacturing. Put away incoming materials in designated warehouse locations. Maintain accurate product and inventory locations. Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Use handheld scanners, inventory systems, or other warehouse technology as required. Inspect pallets and products for damage and report discrepancies. Properly stack, wrap, label, and organize pallets. Maintain clean and organized warehouse, dock, and staging areas. Follow all company safety, food safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements. Perform daily forklift/equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Assist production, shipping, receiving, and other departments as needed. Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift experience required. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift; experience with other warehouse equipment is a plus. Forklift certification or ability to complete company forklift certification. Ability to accurately read product labels, pick tickets, and warehouse documentation. Basic computer/scanner experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods. Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, warehouse traffic, and varying temperatures. Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work ScheduleSecond Shift:
Approximately 11:00 AM start time , with end time based on production and warehouse requirements.
Occasional overtime, weekends, or schedule adjustments may be required based on business needs.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
