Job Description
Our client, a premier third-party logistics and supply chain solutions provider, is looking for a Forklift Operator to join their team in Fullerton, California . In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within a high-volume cold storage environment, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy and seamless shipping/receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a sit-down propane forklift to move, store, and transport materials safely throughout the warehouse. Receive products via railcar and truckload, including scanning and putting away inventory. Pick and stage orders accurately using barcode scanners and the Abecas system. Load outbound trailers and perform required trailer inspections. Record and submit product locations and inventory changes to maintain total system integrity. Complete all necessary operational paperwork and submit it to the office for processing. Perform daily safety checks and basic upkeep of forklift and clamp equipment. Follow all building checklists, SOPs, and safety policies to maintain an organized work environment.Requirements:
Proven experience operating a sit-down propane forklift is required. Must possess an active forklift certification. Ability to work comfortably in a cold room/refrigerated warehouse environment. Proficiency with barcode scanners and warehouse inventory systems is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active setting. Experience with trailer loading/unloading and general shipping/receiving processes.Pay & Schedule:
