Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse / Driver, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely deliveries. This energetic position combines hands-on materials handling with responsible driving duties, offering an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to contribute to efficient distribution processes. From shipping & receiving activities, all while supporting a collaborative and safety-focused workplace. This paid position provides opportunities for growth and skill development in warehouse management and logistics. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment including, pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, cycle counts, and updating the warehouse management system Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as stocking shelves, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products. Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols outlined by OSHA standards; ensure heavy lifting is performed with proper technique. Conduct mechanical inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly to minimize downtime. Support manufacturing or construction-related activities by handling materials with mechanical knowledge and operating heavy equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by following packaging standards and safety procedures; support warehouse supervisor in implementing process improvements. Experience Demonstrated ability to operate pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Proven skills in inventory control, stock management, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving processes. Experience with materials handling techniques including heavy lifting, packaging, and order fulfillment in manufacturing or distribution environments. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
