Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager Job Summary The Clamp Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift equipped with an appliance clamp attachment to handle, move, pick, and put away large appliances throughout the warehouse. This role ensures damage-free product handling, maintains accurate inventory flow, and supports overall warehouse operations. Key ResponsibilitiesClamp Forklift Operation

• Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts equipped with clamp, carton clamp, or appliance clamp attachments.
• Handle, transport, pick, put away, and stack/unstack large appliances and other non-palletized items.
• Adjust clamp pressure appropriately based on product type to prevent damage. Loading & Unloading
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments from trucks and trailers.
• Ensure items are secured and positioned properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Inventory Management
• Move stock to designated storage locations and stage products for shipping or receiving.
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
• Maintain proper stock placement to optimize warehouse space and operational flow. Safety & Equipment Maintenance
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and warehouse safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Documentation
• Record material movement, quantities handled, and product details on pick tickets, manifests, or shipping documents.
• Verify accuracy of items moved against order or transfer documentation. General Warehouse Support
• Assist with manual unloading/loading, order picking, pallet wrapping, staging, and general housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Support warehouse operations and team members to meet daily goals. Required Skills and QualificationsExperience
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a clamp forklift in a warehouse or distribution center. Certification
• Valid forklift certification or lift truck operator license required. Safety Knowledge
• Strong understanding of safe forklift operation, clamp handling techniques, and OSHA guidelines. Attention to Detail
• Ability to prevent damage through precision handling and maintain accurate inventory records. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, move, or maneuver items up to 50-75 lbs unassisted. Soft Skills
• Reliable, strong work ethic, and positive team attitude.
• Effective communication and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
