Your Impact:
The Forklift Operator supports the Receiving/Warehouse department and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. The position involves the unloading and storage of goods, organizing materials within the warehouse, locating & delivering raw materials to Production, and assisting with accurate inventory management.
Your Focus:
Safely operate forklifts, powered & manual pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished goods, unloading/loading them from/onto trailers, onto/off of storage racks, and within the warehouse and manufacturing facility Use Warehouse Management System software to locate raw materials and finished goods, conduct real-time inventory transactions, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist in periodic inventory counts Retrieve and deliver requested materials to Production and within facility according to company standards Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure the safe and organized storage of products and materials Inspect forklifts and other equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance needs Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations Perform all other duties as assigned. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Frequently required to stand, stoop, and reach Frequently required to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs Exceptional hand-eye coordination Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar environment Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and other material handling equipment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Depends on experience.
