In this energetic role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise will ensure safe and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting seamless distribution processes. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments Manage inventory by accurately picking orders using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for repairs needed Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards and forklift safety procedures to prevent accidents Support warehouse management with inventory management tasks such as stock organization and cycle counting Participate in manual handling activities involving heavy lifting and materials handling to ensure efficient workflow Qualifications Valid certification for forklift operation, including lift truck, reach truck, Hi-Lo, clamp truck, or pallet jack licenses Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with hands-on forklift driving skills Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling best practices Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts Strong understanding of forklift safety standards in production environments as per OSHA guidelines Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently Join us if you're ready to bring energy, precision, and safety-consciousness to a thriving warehouse environment!
