Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking skilled and reliable Sit Down & Stand up Forklift operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be certified and proficient in operating sit-down, Stand up, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment handling to ensure smooth logistics and inventory management.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 2:30pm-11pm in Montebello CA Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down, Stand up, forklifts Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products Accurately pick, pack, and transport inventory within the warehouse Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals Requirements Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience Current forklift certification for sit-down, Stand up, Steel-toe safety boots required Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Proven experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction setting. Warehouse distribution or warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail during order picking and shipping/receiving tasks.
