Full-Time Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will operate various heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, Cherry picker and pallet jacks to efficiently load, unload, and move materials throughout our distribution center. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and order picking will ensure accurate shipments and inventory control. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo equipment, and other heavy machinery to load and unload goods. Manage order picking processes using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic mechanical repairs or notify maintenance for repairs to ensure optimal operation. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Handle materials with care using pallet jacks and other handling tools to prevent damage and ensure safety. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts, improve workflow processes, and implement safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo's, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker technology. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshoot issues. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Ability to lift heavy loads safely repeatedly throughout the shift; physical stamina is essential. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Previous experience in shipping amp; receiving or warehouse distribution is highly preferred. Valid certification for forklift operation; additional certifications such as warehouse supervisor experience or heavy equipment operation are a plus.
