Temporary Summary The Cherry Picker and Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating both a cherry picker and a sit-down forklift to move, locate, relocate, load, unload, and stack products within the distribution center. This position requires an individual who can work in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, is flexible in performing a variety of warehouse tasks, is comfortable working at heights while operating elevated equipment, and is willing to perform general labor duties as needed to support warehouse operations. Job Duties Operate a cherry picker and sit-down forklift to safely move and retrieve materials throughout the warehouse. Perform order picking with accuracy and attention to detail. Load, unload, relocate, and stage products as directed. Perform general labor duties, including packing, sorting, labeling, palletizing, cleaning work areas, and other warehouse tasks as assigned. Assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory activities as needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines. Be available to work overtime and weekends based on business needs. Requirements Previous forklift experience with the ability to safely operate both a cherry picker and sit-down forklift. Willingness to perform general labor duties in addition to forklift operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods. Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays as required. Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete the E-Verify employment eligibility verification process. Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
