00hr Position Overview The Forklift Operator I is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, store, stack, and transport merchandise throughout the warehouse. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to all safety procedures and company standards. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Sit-Down Forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Complete and document pre-operation equipment inspections. Load, unload, move, stack, and store products in designated warehouse locations. Pull and prepare orders accurately for shipment. Verify product quantities and ensure shipment accuracy. Perform order picking and staging for outbound shipments. Use RF scanners to support inventory management and tracking. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories. Rotate inventory according to company standards. Identify and report inventory discrepancies. Complete required documentation and reports. Report safety hazards, incidents, or concerns promptly. Utilize basic computer and Excel skills for operational tasks. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 6 months of Sit-Down forklift operation and warehouse distribution experience Ability to qualify for and pass a Forklift Certification. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic math and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10-12 hours per shift . Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 10 to 50 pounds as required. Frequent bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting above shoulder level. Ability to work in varying temperatures, lighting conditions, and noise levels. Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs required Warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience. Experience using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
