Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Warehouse/Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently working in the warehouse while safely operating various heavy equipment and delivery vehicles. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse Safely load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods using appropriate materials handling equipment Manage inventory control by accurately picking, packing, stocking, and organizing products using inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying inbound/outbound shipments and preparing items for dispatch Support warehouse operations by adhering to safety regulations, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and following established procedures for manual handling and heavy lifting Requirements Must have a valid Drivers' License with good driving record. Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment. Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, stock management, shipping & receiving Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to OSHA standards and safety protocols Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing accuracy Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order accuracy Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a physically demanding setting Attendance/Reliabity is a must!
