Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM
•2:30 PM 2nd
Shift:
Sunday-Friday, 2:00 PM
•10:30 PM Job Overview Employnet is seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Operators to join our team at a busy cold storage distribution facility located at the Port of Stockton. The ideal candidate will have previous high-reach forklift experience and be comfortable working in a refrigerated/cold storage environment. This position involves safely operating a high-reach forklift to move, load, unload, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
Important:
This position is located within the Port of Stockton. Candidates must have a valid government-issued ID or valid driver's license to enter the Port. Responsibilities Safely operate a high-reach forklift in a cold storage warehouse environment. Load, unload, move, and stage pallets and products. Safely place and retrieve pallets from warehouse racks at various heights. Perform daily forklift/equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues. Follow all forklift safety procedures and company policies. Accurately move and handle products while minimizing damage. Organize and maintain inventory and storage locations. Follow warehouse procedures for receiving, shipping, and product movement. Work efficiently while maintaining safety and accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous High Reach Forklift experience required. Forklift certification is preferred. Ability to safely operate a high-reach forklift in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred. Ability to work in refrigerated/cold temperatures. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to complete required screening processes. Must have a valid government-issued ID or valid driver's license for Port of Stockton access . Physical Requirements Ability to work in cold/refrigerated temperatures for extended periods. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and sit while operating equipment throughout the shift. Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Ability to work safely around warehouse equipment and moving vehicles.
