Front Range Staffing is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator with at least 2 years of experience for a growing, well-established metal shop in Palmer Lake, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, dependable, and mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working in a hands-on industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating an industrial forklift, unloading heavy materials, and assisting with general production and material handling duties.

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30

PM Pay:

Starting at $22.00 per hour An ideal candidate for this position would possess the following skills and experience: Minimum of 2 years of material handling, forklift, warehouse, or related industrial experience. Unload semi-trucks carrying pipes, beams, sheet metal, and other heavy materials using an industrial forklift. Safely operate a forklift to move, organize, and stage materials throughout the facility. Prepare, package, and secure materials and finished products for shipment. Assist with production tasks using table saws, hand tools, and other shop equipment. Maintain organized material and staging areas. Follow established safety procedures while handling heavy and oversized materials. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Previous experience unloading semi-trucks and handling metal or similar industrial materials preferred. Forklift certification preferred but not required. Experience using table saws, hand tools, and other shop equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
