Job Description

Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Forklift Operator opportunities in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities for a Forklift Operator include but are not limited to: Safely operate forklift equipment to transport raw materials and finished goods between facility buildings and production staging areas. Prepare, weigh, charge, package, and repackage raw materials and final products while operating blenders, mills, sifters, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment. Maintain clean-in-place (CIP) system hygiene, perform routine housekeeping and daily equipment checks, and complete required GMP documentation. Utilize SAP systems to perform basic raw material inventory lookups and support daily warehouse operations with minimal supervision. Candidates for Forklift Operator must meet the following requirements to be considered: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; mechanical aptitude to assemble and disassemble production equipment. Ability to obtain on-site Forklift certification and perform basic SAP inventory functions. Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 55 kg (approx. 121 lbs), standing/sitting for extended periods, working around strong magnets, and wearing a respirator (FIT test required). Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. What's in this Forklift Operator position for you?

Pay Details:
