Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD) is one of the country's fastest-growing distributors of wood cabinets. Job Description The reach truck operator is responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in operating a reach truck and other machinery. This also includes the loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, and other generalized roles working in all departments. Responsibilities Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated area. May operate a forklift, reach truck, or other machinery to complete tasks. Receives, counts and records shipment data into the system. Matches packing list information to actual merchandise. Prepares packages/merchandise for storage Identify incorrect/short/over/damaged items and immediately notify supervisor. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same. Receive and fill orders, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
