Currently, The Florida Brewery, Inc. seeks for responsible and highly prepared individuals who can commit to our company in the journey of reaching the highest standards in quality products and services. position overview This position reports to the Logistics Planning Manager and operates forklifts to assist with such responsibilities as offloading packaging material, loading and optimizing customer loads of finished product for customer pickups to ensure operational efficiency, and feeding bottles or cans to the packaging line to keep the bottling line moving. basic qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S
- 18 years of age or older
- Undergo and pass background check
- Undergo and pass drug test skills
- Strong teamwork, collaboration and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic math skills
- Forklift experience & certification
- Willingness to follow companies' safety procedures job duties
- Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
- Inspecting for damage to vehicles.
- Shrink wrapping orders for shipment
- Identifying work-place, safety hazards
- Adhering to safety management standards.
- Adhering to production schedules
- Maintain forklifts in good conditions, inspect them daily for any issues or damage special demands
- Ability to endure prolonged periods of sitting
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to wear PPE and hearing protection when required by the job.
- Repetitive motion
- Able to withstand high levels of noise for prolonged periods of time - hearing protection required in some areas
- Tolerate excessive temperatures due to outside environmental changes
- Must be available to support 14 hours shift if required; or weekend and holiday schedules as needed.
