Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse/yard by locating, relocating, stacking, and counting supplies. They are tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring shipments and receipts' efficiency. The ideal candidate must have experience operating a forklift, a valid forklift certification, and a strong focus on safety. Job Duties included but not limited:

• Arriving at office Mon-Friday at 7:00am
• Must be trained and certified to operate a forklift
• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve goods, supplies and materials
• Documenting and maintaining inventory records
• Responsible for maintaining areas clean and organize
• Thorough attention to Safety
• Perform and document daily forklift safety inspections.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment as required
• Ability to work with a team and/or independently under some supervision.
• Availability to work Overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma and/or 1 year of forklift operator experience
• Excellent listening, visual, verbal and written communication
• Good perception with outstanding judgment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, climb, reach, stand, walk and acclimated to working outside.

• Physically fit and dexterous. o Ability to frequently lift and relocate heavy loads using a forklift.
• Good mobility for lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, stooping and climbing
• Good eye - hand coordination.

Excellent hearing.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a construction environment and must be acclimated to working outside. Some safety protective equipment will be required while performing duties. This role requires passing a background check and a negative drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
