Warehouse Associate - Shipping & Receiving / Forklift Operator JMF International Group, Inc Doral, FL Job Details Full-time $16.25 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Forklift Certification Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Picking & packing Full Job Description Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and experienced operating a forklift. This role is essential to keeping product moving accurately and efficiently through our warehouse. Key Responsibilities General Warehouse Duties Load and unload trucks and containers Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately for shipment Organize and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts Label, sort, and store products correctly per warehouse layout Report damaged, missing, or incorrect product to supervisor Shipping & Receiving Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies upon receipt Prepare outbound shipments with correct documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels) Coordinate with carriers/drivers for pickups and deliveries Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs Update inventory records in the warehouse/inventory system Forklift Operation Safely operate forklift to move, load, unload, and stack pallets/materials Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues Follow all safety protocols and warehouse traffic rules Maintain valid forklift certification Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or forklift experience preferred Valid forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain certification) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs+ and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting) for extended periods when needed Basic math and inventory tracking skills Comfortable using handheld scanners, computers, or warehouse management software Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Self-starter with strong initiative — someone who takes ownership, follows through without being asked twice, and is driven to get results, not just complete tasks Work Expectations Personal devices should remain silenced and out of use during work hours, except for urgent personal matters. Phone calls, texting, and social media browsing for non-work purposes should be reserved for breaks.
