Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Duties Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks, move inventory within the warehouse, and prepare shipments for dispatch. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Software (WMS), ensuring accuracy in inventory data entry. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, adhering to packaging standards and trade compliance regulations. Maintain organized storage by stocking products efficiently and conducting regular inventory counts using inventory management software. Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations when applicable. Support warehouse operations by performing data entry tasks in ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, updating stock levels and order statuses. Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and work areas to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners within a warehouse or distribution center setting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400 or similar, and inventory management software. Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance standards. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
