Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our vibrant warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and ensuring safe operation of various types of warehouse equipment. Your expertise will help streamline our distribution processes and uphold the highest safety standards across all warehouse operations. Duties Operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning tools to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and efficiency Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on equipment to maintain optimal functionality and safety compliance Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipments, recording inbound/outbound logistics, and ensuring proper documentation Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all material handling activities to prevent accidents or injuries Support warehouse management in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to distribution schedules Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and barcode scanning for logistics purposes Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper techniques to ensure safety Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments and inventory data Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling procedures Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order picking and inventory management Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly preferred Join us to be part of a lively team that values safety, efficiency, and innovation! Pay:
$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
