General Job Description:
Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering materials to job sites, picking up supplies from vendors, and assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to designated locations. Load, unload, and secure materials for transport. Verify delivery orders and obtain signatures when required. Pick up materials from suppliers and vendors. Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and inventory control within the warehouse. Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle inspection records. Inspect company vehicles daily and report any maintenance concerns. Keep warehouse and company vehicles clean and organized. Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations. Assist warehouse personnel with additional tasks as needed.
Specific Qualifications:
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely operate pickup trucks, vans, and box trucks. Previous warehouse, delivery, or logistics experience preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification). Experience with inventory management systems. Knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
