•Job Overview Rotating schedule and weekends. Be able to work 12 hrs. Full time. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our 24/7 operations team in a fast-paced distribution center. Must have experience operating seat down and double forks forklifts. Responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of operations and supporting our shipping and receiving processes. Operate forklifts and heavy equipment to load and unload materials from trucks and containers. Safely transport goods throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage. Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards. Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking materials received and shipped. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain organization within the distribution center. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices for equipment operation and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a forklift operator or in heavy equipment operation within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including inventory management systems. Ability to operate cherry pickers and other specialized forklifts safely. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing or walking.
