Duties Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials with heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Manage materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and storing inventory in designated warehouse areas. Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations by adhering to safety protocols during all operations involving heavy equipment and materials handling. Support warehouse management system (WMS) activities by updating inventory records and tracking movement of goods. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse roles. Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts safely in a busy environment. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation, such as cranes, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations applicable to warehouse operations. Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or managing materials handling processes is a plus.
