JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Forklift Certified Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support daily warehouse operations. This position assists with receiving, storing, moving, and shipping freight while maintaining inventory accuracy, workplace safety, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Load and unload freight from trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Move, stack, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare shipments for outbound delivery.
• Receive incoming freight and verify quantities and condition against shipping documentation.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and promptly report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow established warehouse procedures, quality standards, and security requirements.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid forklift certification required.
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and meet all applicable company security requirements.

• Safe operation of warehouse equipment with no preventable accidents or safety violations.
• Accuracy of inventory handling, order picking, and shipment preparation.
• Timely completion of receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
• Compliance with company safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Maintenance of warehouse organization and cleanliness standards.
