Begins during the second week Position Summary Kelly Services is seeking a dependable Stacker to support manufacturing operations in Ocala, Florida. The Stacker will manually stack decking boards onto pallets, inspect products for quality and accuracy, strap completed pallets, and safely move products and materials throughout the production area. This position requires the ability to perform repetitive work, remain on your feet for extended periods, and work a rotating 12-hour schedule in a manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manually palletize products according to work instructions and production schedules. Measure the squareness of cuts and the length of boards using a measuring tape. Inspect the quality of embossing on decking boards. Examine boards for proper length, shape, and corners. Wipe down decking boards before they go through the embosser. Move products between floors, pallets, conveyors, and tables. Ensure pallets are properly stacked and securely strapped. Cut scrap materials using a table saw. Keep the stacker area clean and free of debris. Follow all company work rules, procedures, and regulations. Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures. Perform a variety of general labor tasks as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. One year of manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations. Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift. Ability to perform repetitive and continuous work. Willingness to work overtime as business needs require. Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Work Environment Indoor manufacturing facility that is not temperature controlled and is not air-conditioned or heated. Work takes place around loud equipment and machinery. Safety shoes are required. Additional personal protective equipment will be provided. Physical Requirements The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position: Frequent bending at the waist and neck. Frequent grasping using power and simple grips. Pushing and pulling materials. Reaching above, at, and below shoulder level. Repetitive movement of the shoulders, arms, and hands. Lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Constant standing. Frequent twisting of the neck and waist. Continuous use of vision to inspect products and perform job duties.
