Arcosa Traffic Structures is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator. In this role you'll operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks and/or yard vehicles to move materials and products between receiving and storage locations. As well as, utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders and maintain inventory.
Location:
Sumterville, FL What you'll do: Operates 8,000-30,000-pound lift truck and boom lifts Operates overhead crane on production line Receives and records stock receipts in ERP system Maintains inventory records and participates in audits for inventory accuracy Pulls materials as requested or in accordance with production schedule and performs material issue transactions in ERP system. Facilitates communication of inventory to maintain stock levels Builds and packages parts or subassembly kits Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store's facilities Communicate with inside & outside drivers, checking loads in & out Audits goods received into warehouse Maintain and improve quality Follow all safety rules and practices Fill-in as needed so that production goals can be met May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Other duties as assigned What you'll need: High School diploma or equivalent preferred 1-3 years of experience as a Mobile Equipment Operator 2 years of experience maintaining inventory Experience with ERP Systems Strong attention to detail Strong communication skills both written and verbal Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Steel yard experience is preferred
Working Conditions:
Hourly full-time position Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
